educational technology

Educational technology has made a huge impact on my high school experience. My entire Spanish class was online for my eleventh and tenth grade years. For this reason alone I feel educational technology is a must in our everyday classroom settings. First, educational technology is more interesting than reading from textbooks five days a week. Next, educational technology is a more advanced than using the standard teaching methods. Lastly, educational technology gives teachers a well needed rest.
Educational technology is a more appealing learning style than previous teaching methods. I recall various times of boredom in classrooms with textbook style teaching. A child’s attention span is I very small depending on their age. Educational technology is very appealing to most students because it isn’t monotonous. It presents us with various ways of learning. Power point presentations are one of many approaches taken.
Next, educational technology is more advanced than standard learning styles. It provides double and sometimes triple the information presented in textbooks. The information is usually more accurate and updated. They also can provide the information at a much faster pace.
Lastly, educational technology gives hardworking teachers a well needed rest. Sometimes grades can be calculated completely or assisted with the help of educational technology. The information is made for more widespread viewing. This calls for less copying. Educational technology takes a lot of the stress out of being an educator.
Educational technology is forms of technology that assist in teaching and learning. It is becoming a very widespread phenomenon. From online classes to power point presentations it is a very helpful teaching style. Soon I feel we will get to the point that teachers will only be needed to monitor students. Computers or other future devices will be able to control the entire structure of classrooms today.
